Disappointed and dissatisfied

I bought a watch on takealot.com because I don't have an app I did cash on delivery they were supposed to deliver it today to my surprise it was canceled I spoke to the consultant last week and to the consultant that I tested positive for COVID-19 and I was under quarantine in a different location and that it was a present and I have no one who can take the parcel for me today on the day of delivery I find out that it was cancelled but no one had the decency to tell me this I had to call I am so disappointed with takealot
