Delivery service FAIL!

<p>Hello, I've been buying from Takealot for years now as you can see in my Account history. over the years I have had issues but then again who hasn't? I understand its a business and sometimes things do go wrong, Its acceptable that things will go wrong now and then so I don't take them to heart but lately my recent order with Takealot was by far one of the worst experiences, first i find out that to get free delivery we have to now buy over R450? which I personally think is absolutely madness. The R250 was acceptable because the service I receive from Mr. Delivery is not excellent. its Acceptable, but to find out that the free delivery price has now increased I assumed I would be getting a better Delivery service right? Wrong. Very wrong. The service has not changed, the service is not acceptable for the price I pay for items anymore, Takealot is no longer the cheapest website on the internet and the service has just gotten worse from you guys, when you first started you treated customers properly because building a relationship with customers, that is important with a new business but now because the company makes so much of money, take into account about the huge investment just made to takealot, its become sad.</p> <p> </p> <p>On takealot tracking delivery it states "Expect a call to schedule delivery" I first started to notice this last year June when i ordered my Collectors edition for Uncharted 4. since then, nearly a year, I have not once received a call to "schedule my delivery", never once did Mr Delivery call me before they delivered a package. and yesterday they came around noon when no one was at home, my second contact is my mother since she works in an area near home so she could meet them, at that time she was in the bank and couldn't. so they call her and ask where can they drop it off, my mother states at my grandmother's house and the delivery guy just asks for the address and okay he'll do it, now that may not seem like a problem right? but he didn't ask for a name? to check ID? nothing. what if he delivered it to the wrong house? they would so easily put the blame on me stating I wasn't home and gave them permission to drop it off at that address and that's how I would have lost my package. If you are going to charge us ridiculously for free delivery the service has to be better than this! I'd prefer them calling me a day before so I can make arrangements for this! we know that we normally get a delivery in the morning around 8/9 am, my mother was home that time but nothing from MR Delivery whatsoever! that sort of service isn't what I'm paying so damn much for! get it right or get another company to do your deliveries Takealot, so far when people ask me about Takealot I only have complaints. I refer other Websites like Raru or AWX now because their service is far better.</p>
