Delivery Mess

An order of mine was out already to be delivered on Thursday. That night I get a message saying couldn't get hold of me rescheduling for Friday. Friday the same thing happens. Now first of all not once was I contacted so not sure how they couldn't get hold of me. Now delivery is for Saturday. So yesterday this delivery guy gets lost so badly. And then says right so I'm back at one of the boom gates I cant keep driving around I'm leaving this parcel at reception at this boom gate for you( I live in a game reserve) First of all this boom gate isnt anywhere where he was supposed to be driving and secondly now I have to drive 22 km cause it's all the way on the other side of the reserve to get to the boom gate to pick up my box that delivery should have been to my residence. My biggest problem with this is not even so much the drivers attitude or the fact he left my box with people I dont know and I had to leave work to fetch it and pray it wasn't ******. The worst is that I have been buying from takealot for over 6 yrs and so does my sister and a few other family members that live way to far into the Bush and the drivers vehicles cant drive there since it's only 4x4 routes. I get deliveries from takealot at the very least once a month. So this guy obviously do not know the area. Why did they not contact me in advance like everyone else did before and ask right where do I turn what do I do? Everyone of your drivers that do come here regularly know me by name and even ask if I am home or somewhere closer to the tar road then i redirect them straight to me. So i am absolutely shocked at this whole situation that happened yesterday. Teach your people to ask and i will direct them i might even be closer by so they dont have to drive far but this is unacceptable. I have gone out my way when it's late night and delivery guys phone and say ma'am I'm on my way into the park I have gone so far as to meet them half way. So why do I now after 6yrs get this horrible service because this guy didn't want to work or ask for help or what?
