Delivery man's bad attitude

A friend asked me to sign on a package to be delivered to her at our residence in Bloemfontein as she would not be in at the time of its arrival. Upon receiving her call informing me that the delivery has arrived, I then headed outside to collect it as requested.

The delivery man, whose name tag is written 'Hennie', did not bother to greet. My friend had told him that someone else would collect & sign on her behalf. He immediately had an aggressive approach towards me which I did not appreciate. His engagement was hostile throughout & he would not give me a chance to read the screen before signing it. I had to force him to give me a chance.

He did not extend any respect & courtesy as one would generally expect to be extended to a client in the normal course of business.

As mentioned, I was acting on behalf of a friend & have never personally made use of takealot.com's services, but my first experience & encounter with their representative has been upsetting, to say the least.
