Delivery Issues

We ordered a new fridge from Takealot because ours broke and we desperately needed a new one. We took advantage of the Blue Dot sale and purchased the fridge.

The fridge got delivered today and there was only 1 person delivering the fridge, he couldn’t cope so my younger sister who was at home AND THAT SUFFERS FROM BACK PROBLEMS had to help him carry the fridge.

To make matters worse we noticed a hole in the box and when we removed the box the fridge has a massive scratch on it which I then had to log a return!

How does Takealot only send 1 delivery driver to deliver heavy items? It is utterly ridiculous.

Are you only going to send 1 person to collect the fridge for the return and expect my 70 year old mother to carry the fridge to the truck?

When am I getting a replacement fridge which we desperately need? I cannot believe the incompetence of Takealot
