Delivery in 9 days - or so

I order items on 27 September and was promised delivery on 2 October. When realising that the delivery address I entered was incorrect, it seemed easy. Inform them of the new address and package will be re-routed. Not the case. I am still waiting (05 Oct) after being promised delivery today. Now they tell me the delivery will ony be done tomorrow on 06 oct. So it takes a whole week to re-route delivery of a package. During this time of emails up and down where I need to keep on checking what is going on, I receive 3 emails to check what my satisfaction is. Rather focus on filling the order first, I would think
