Delivery Expectation
<p>I spend a lot of money at Takealot, ordered R 11 000 worth of goods in one order only this week. So I understand how the "ordered from supplier" works. It means that within 5-7 working days they will have the stock from the supplier and delivery it to you. Ok, no problem, I can gice or take a day, Im not unreasonable.</p> <p>I ordered goods onthe 26 of May, delivery expectaion (recieved from Takealot on EMAIL confirmation) 01 June, awesome! Delivery day comes and goes, so I check the status of my order and ANOTHER 7 working days has been added to the delivery schedule, with NO communication from them whatsoever!!! </p> <p>I email them to say that this is unacceptable and I recieve this...</p> <p>"We are unable speculate as to when exactly "X" will be delivered as we did not have stock of this at the time of purchase." ...Well actually Takealot you could do more than speculate. Before I even purchased the item you told me there would be a 5-7 working day lead time, YET NOW with NO communication of a further delay you can NOT EVEN SPECULATE TO DELIVERY DATE. </p> <p>Really, this is completely unacceptable.</p>
