Delivery delays with no solution

Order sneakers of R1500 on 1st June payment of order was received and shipped on the 2nd June and supposed to arrive on the 8 June 2020. I ordered the running shoes on behalf of a Polish friend that I work with and he amped to have them. The day of arrival and nothing. I contacted the call center they tell me the package was wrongfully delivered at a depot. I then contacted the seller as well and he assisted me greatly. Takealot.com then made excuse after excuse saying the courier had the package. It's the 18th and still don't have a package and no information on where the package is or whats will be done about receiving it. Apparently my package is in Port Elizabeth but they always has issues..been closed for a week etc as well the phone problems the list is endless.. Unfortunately it has been a roller-coaster relationship for 6 years or more and I rather decided not to use anymore until they sorted with all their backlogs. I can't say anything positive as the customer care was a waste as they couldn't give me proper info as well. I spent 300 or more min on the phone and yet no package. Highly disappointed in the way things been handled
