Delivery date keep on changing

I bought an item from Takealot. The day I was expecting the delivery, I was told the parcel got lost in transit. I don't even know what does that mean because no one bothered to explain. Delivery date had to be rescheduled. Since then they keep on changing delivery dates. I bought that item knowing that I will receive it after two days, now it is taking them months to deliver.
