Delivery date changes on big item delivery on date of delivery

I bought a washing machine on the 20.05.2025, it showed the shipping will happen on the 21st and the delivery on the 22nd, come 21st no update on the app, 22nd came no update on app until 12:21 - Parcel shipped from Take a lot warehouse and is in transit to courier facility, Glenmarais Kempton Park, the next update were 13.19 Parcel arrived at courier facility Witfontein Centurion and immediatley after that the delivery date was pushed to the 23rd, I specially made arrangements for my wife to work from home on the 22nd so that we can receive the purchase, I contacted them and were told that there might be issue on the app as the washing machine have not been scanned in at the courier facility and that even if it were there the drivers are on the road and won't be able to deliver it, Why say you can deliver it on the 22nd in the 1st place. Extremely upset.
