Delivered my product to a total stranger

I enquired about when my product will be delivered and the gentleman on the phone was adamant that they have already delivered it, however I was at home the whole day while the doorbell did not ring, nor did I hear any sort of knock on the door or anyone calling, AND no one delivered anything. I explained to the gentleman that I haven’t received anything and the best they could do was to send me the signature of the person who signed for it…

I am new in my neighbourhood and haven’t met all my neighbours. It turns out that one of my neighbours, who I haven’t met was approached by the driver to take delivery of the parcel – this TOTALL UNNACEPTABLE!!! If my neighbour didn’t turn out to be such an honest person I would never have known who took delivery and would have been charged for a product I did not receive.

AND when I opened the box the product had marks and scratches on it.
