Deliberately Deceptive Advertising

I recently purchased printer ink from Takealot, which their website indicated was in stock. However, it transpired, after the ink was delivered, that the supplier was 'Bonolo Online'. As I believed that I had been deliberately deceived by Bonolo/Takealot, I submitted the following review to Takealot.

"I believed that I was ordering 445XL and 446XL, but when the product/s arrived the 446 was not XL. On, after the event, reading the small print of the Ad I note that indeed what is advertised is a plain, non-XL, 446 cartridge. As on further reading the Ad, after the event, I note that the small print says that the product is not refundable. Clearly, the Ad is designed to deliberately deceive the purchaser, and then to deny them the ability to return the products purchased by deception. Whilst Takealot may have a non-refundable policy, this does not mean that they are not obliged to exchange the item I purchase, which they also clearly are attempting to do. This is an extremely poor business practice of Takealot, which will now make me reassess as to whether I should deal with them in the future."

Takealot refused to publish my review, hence I take the opportunity to disclose their poor practices here.
