Delayed, Ignored, and Disappointed – What Happened to Takealot?

This has been a very frustrating experience with Takealot. I placed my order on 2 March, and it has still not been delivered. I’ve had to follow up myself just to get any information.

I received one response with an ETA, which came and went with no delivery and no update. I followed up again, and another representative said they would check, but again, no response thereafter.

The lack of communication and follow-through is extremely disappointing. After two missed ETAs and no proper updates, it feels like there is no accountability or urgency to resolve the issue.

Takealot used to be reliable, but this experience reflects a clear decline in service. It may be convenient to order, but that means very little if you don’t receive what you paid for.
