Delay causing double expenditure

I have orederd 12 items on the with understanding that my order will be received by 16 October. I phoned on 4 October to hear if I can get earlier delivery. I was told they are waiting for few items but they will send what they have. Now I get a mail my total order will only be delivered 1 November they are waiting for 1 item. 1 out of 12 is delaying me such that I anyway have to buy personal items.
