Defective Sound Card!!!!

I order a Sound card from TakeAlot which showed was in stock and would be ready for collection in 2-5 working days. When i didn't receive any notification to collect i called, only to be told there isnt stock and it's going to take another 5 days... I waited about 2 weeks... Then I finally collected it. When I got home I plugged it in and nothing happened. I read the instructions and even watched Youtube vids to make sure I was doing it right... but it still didnt want to turn on. I called Takealot for a replacement as I need this sound card for my business and was told no time could be given to when ill get a replacement. It's so frustrating that the supplier does not check that the equipment works before giving it to the client! The refund would also take 2 weeks so I guess I am forced to wait!!! then my review was removed from their site... Really Take Alot?
