Purchased a rolling school backpack from Takealot which was used for less than four weeks before the handle mechanism failed. The metal component inside the handle bends extremely easily. I even demonstrated in a video that it bends with minimal pressure, indicating a likely manufacturing defect rather than normal wear and tear. Despite submitting photos and video evidence, the return was declined and classified as “wear and tear”. A rolling school bag relies on the handle mechanism for its primary function, so failure within four weeks clearly raises durability concerns.
