Defective products sold by Takealot

According to Takealots' records my first Ortofon Twin Pack set purchased 13 July 2023. Returned 1 August 2023 as it was defective. That's 19 days and it got replaced without question.

My replacement Ortofon set again was defective when recieved but this time it was very hard to pickup the defective stylus problem. Only on closer inspection did I find that the stylus was loose a month or so later. So yes it took longer to trace the defect. But the point is that I was sold a defective product by Takealot. Twice.

Now Takealot has returned that defective product to me stating that I returned it damaged (according to their return policy) and returned after 7 days.

I'm totally dissatisfied with the outcome. Why are they selling defective products? Can't wait form Amazon to take them out.
