Deeply Disappointed with Takealot’s Service - Stuck with 2 left foot converse boots

I am beyond disappointed with my recent experience with Takealot. I ordered a pair of shoes as a birthday gift for my wife, only to receive two left shoes — the right shoe was completely missing.

When I reported this obvious error, I expected a simple correction or exchange. Instead, Takealot had the audacity to send me photos of the same defective pair and informed me that they would not entertain the issue any further.

This is not only unprofessional but shows a complete lack of accountability and quality control. Returning the same faulty item and refusing to resolve the matter is unacceptable, especially for a company of Takealot’s size and reputation.

I will be sharing this experience on social media and encouraging my colleagues and associates to think twice before ordering from Takealot. What was supposed to be a special gift turned into a major disappointment — a clear reflection of how far their customer service standards have dropped.
