Deeply disappointed Takealot customer

I have ordered a duvet set for my son in the 24th of October 2021, and it was supposed to be delivered tomorrow the 5th of November 2021. 20:00 on the 4th of November (the night before the supposed delivery date) I get an email saying that the order is canceled due to no stock. Why does it take them 2 weeks to let me know that there is no stock? When I went online to check the order it still says on the website it is available, yet my order was canceled due to no stock. I am sooo disappointed in them.
