Wanting to buy disposable facemasks I did a search on takealot and specifically ruled out anything that was not medical grade. I made my selection of a 50 pack of medical facemasks. When my order arrived I noticed that the barcode label matched my product selection but the manufacturer clearly marked the box as NON-MEDICAL. I contaced takealot and they responded with a cut and paste response where they did not even bother to replace the placeholders with the actual data. The response informed me that I can log a return. Here is the problem - takealot deliberatly listed a product that deceives the buyer and they do not take any responsibility fot this. It is like 'oops I **** and got caught, want you money back?' as if lying is just part of the job.
