Good day,<br> <br> I was interested in purchasing a trimmer/shaver from Takealot that was on the Unboxed Deals special. I however wanted to first ensure that I would be receiving a shop soiled product and NOT a used product and hence enquired from Takealot to verify the condition of the items on special.<br> <br> I received the following reply from Siyasanga Qobe Rhode:<br> <br> \Kindly be advised that the Health and Beauty items on the Unboxed Deals have never been used before, they were returned because the customer purchased an incorrect item.<br> <br> Please note that [URL Removed] will never sell health and beauty products that have been used before, as that is unhygienic.\"<br> <br> I was pleased with that reply and proceeded to purchase the Remington HC5550 Accelerator Clipper. NOTE: Order Number: ***.<br> <br> The delivery of the item was quick and efficient. I received the item yesterday and was happy to find that the product seemed brand spanking new - the box was not even damaged. However upon closer inspection I found hairs and particles on the trimmer head which clearly indicates that this product was used previously.<br> <br> Terribly disappointed to have been deceived by Takealot in this manner. Really expected better.<br> "
