Daylight ribbery #***1

I recently bought a tablet from my son's birthday. I ordered the tablet on the 24th of March 2017 & delivery was done on the 30th March 2017. Due to it being the holidays, I had not used the tablet because the bday boy was not around & it was still in its box. We opened the tablet & used it on the 18th of April 2017 as he was back for school. On that day my friend was downloading some games for my son on the tablet. I referred my friend to takealot & she has the same tablet for her son & had not experienced these issues.

The first day we used it my friend complained that she had issues with the tablet & it was freezing. I thought maybe its a minor glitch & it will be okay since it new. The tablet continued with the same problem to then I decided to take it back to takealot.

I wrote to takealot & it was picked up on the 28th of April 2017. Now I get a quote about liquid damage which has baffled me. How can a product that had problems from day 1 have liquid damage after a week it was opened & had problems from Day 1. I have been told to have it fixed for R1300 whic is half the price of the tablet. How the liquid damage occured to the devise baffles me.

In essence I was sold a devise that was probably not new & damaged already. They have since told me that if I dont pay the damage which is half the price of the tablet itself that they will be sending the devise unrepaired. I will NOT be taking the devise back nor will I be paying for the damage because this is ****************. I am NOT an idiot & I will NOT going to be ****** like this of my hard earned money. At this moment I want my money back.

I have asked them to ask their technician to tell them the aqctual date that the devise was used. Maybe with that informatin I can find out the real truth.
