Damaged Speaker from Takealot.com

I am writing this email with regards to an unfortunate incident I have had with Takealot recently.

I ordered a set of Microlab Speakers before Christmas as a gift. On arrival, the box was damaged, it was not even in a Takealot box. I have seen how reckless your delivery team is with packages, throwing them in the back of their vehicle and such - it’s no surprise that an electronic item would be damaged during delivery.

I did not open the package immediately, as I was going to be away, but have photos as evidence that the box was damaged on delivery - please look at the time and date stamps as reference.

On querying this, and trying to obtain a refund, you not only declined the request, but had the audacity to return the damaged speakers NOW in a Takealot box when previously, upon initial delivery you did not.

I will now be escalating the matter and taking it to social media, your own app platform as well as HelloPeter as I did try to do this through your usual channels and follow the process only to have you disappoint and disrespect once very loyal customers to you.
