Damaged Phone due to charger bought from takealot

If there’s any advice I can give for this product is that do not buy it if you have an iPhone. I bought this product to have extra chargers and when I plugged it in the adapter made a pop sound and now my iPhone 14 Pro Max does not want to turn on it showed a battery is damaged message. When I tried to take a screenshot, the phone just died and refuses to charge. I reach out to takealot and they say “Kindly note that we would not be able to assist with your cell phone” the product, damaged my phone, not my plug!! Highly disappointed with the fact that takealot does nothing to help me. Now I have to pay for a new battery!!

I wish I could give a zero star!!!
