Damaged my couch

I bought a sleeper couch from takealot on the 11th November 2023 was delivered the 16th November 2023. When I opened it up the recline was not working I emailed #takealot about it..they fetched my couched on the 27th December 2023 during that period my couch has been damaged because of #takealot delivery guys, they want to blame me for damaging the couch but it was thier delivery guys and now #takealot doesn't want to refuse me with my money.. Please hellopeter help me in this matter.
