Damaged Jug

I have spent alot of money at takealot, always received value for money My First ever issue was an electric jug that had its lid melt in, still under warranty i requested my first repair ever

The response i recieved was that unfortunately the jug shattered at the DC, how am i liable for negligance on behalf of an *********** service that takealot allocated in the first place

If i am not reimbursed, i will escalate to the national consumer commission and take a legal approach
