I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the recent handling of my purchase, order number MRRN-6V9BJ-O55A , made 23rd April 2024. My experience with Takealot.com has been nothing short of disappointing, and I feel compelled to bring this matter to your attention.

On 23rd April 2024, I purchased a 6L Silvercrest air fryer from your website as a birthday gift for a friend. The parcel arrived promptly, as expected, and I stored it unopened until the week of her birthday, which fell on June 6th. To my dismay, upon opening the packaging on the said date, I discovered that the air fryer was damaged, with a noticeable crack on the exterior.

Immediately recognizing this issue, I reached out to Takealot.com customer service to request a return and refund. However, to my surprise, I was met with resistance. Despite the product being clearly damaged and still within its warranty period, I was informed that Takealot.com could not accept the return due to the item no longer being listed on the website.

This response is unacceptable and reflects poorly on Takealot.com's commitment to customer satisfaction. As a loyal customer who has consistently chosen Takealot.com for my online purchases, I expected better treatment and resolution of this matter.

I urge Takealot.com to reconsider its stance on this issue and honor its responsibility to rectify the situation. I kindly request that the damaged air fryer be returned to the supplier, as per the warranty terms, and that a full refund be processed without further delay.

I trust that Takealot.com will take the necessary steps to address this matter promptly and restore my confidence in your services. I look forward to a swift resolution and satisfactory outcome. even today 20/06/2024 i did not refund me nor give me a call
