Damaged and rusted goods sold as new.

I bought a new Hisense H12 DESS dishwasher from takealot but on installation, it gave an E5 error. After loads of fighting, I managed to get a Hisense technician out to have a look at the machine and it was found that the internals of the machine was rusted and beyond repair. Since then takealot have been ignoring all my efforts in rectifying this matter as they say it's under warranty and therefore a Hisense problem. Hisense in turn say takealot must ressolve the issue as it was purcahsed through them. I am at my wit's end and have no idea how I can recover my loss if both companies are ignoring me.
