Daily Deals ****- False Advertising!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw a deal on a Suunto watch advertised at R2999 with six still in stock at the time. I proceeded to checkout and the price changed to R3989. I refreshed the browser a number of times but it still said one left. To not miss out o the last deal I bought it and took it up with an agent (at this time it was still showing one left). The agent checked and admitted that there is something wrong with the site but said that I agreed with the price if already bought.

This is the definition of false advertising! If a product is advertised at one price it has to be sold at that price. I have proof showing one item still left 20 minutes after I had already received the confirmation of order. Takealot has to take responsibility if their site is faulty. This was the last item thus any reasonable person would buy it and then query the price immediately which is exactly what I did. Especially as the price increased with 33 %. I'm shocked by the nonchalance with which the agent handled my query. This is against Treating Customers Fairly, is False Advertising and against the National Consumer Protection Act!!!!
