Daily Deals - Price not fixed during checkout

I selected an i Pad with a couple of other items on the daily deals and immediately proceeded to checkout. On checkout the price still indicated the discount price, but when payment gone through I payed the standard price? I immediately contacted them to make them aware of this. Their reply was, "The order has already been processed and can not be canceled. You can log a return when the parcel arrived." Within that same hour of placing the order they loaded another 15 iPads at the same Daily Deal price, but they weren't willing to allocate me one of those tablets on request. The customer support said I should have checked my e-mail, but I was using the App on my cellphone. I believe they could have handled this better, by simply allocating me an iPad from next 15 loaded the same morning at the Daily Deal price and have a happy customer.
