Good day, i added 3 items to my cart today before 12, one of which was the Oral B Professional toothbrush . This item was marked down until 12 on 25 Feb'15, however the app as well as the internet site for takealot was taking extremely long to load, as soon as I got back onto the Takealot site (app) the toothbrush was back to its normal price. I do think that this was extremely unfair on my part as the technical issues were on Takealot's side and not mine. I have since removed the toothbrush from my cart, but feel that I was wronged in this regard.<br> <br>

First we'd like to apologise for the very frustrating experience with our website & app today. We unfortunately took a bit of a hit with heavy traffic today, which caused various issues such as the ones you experienced. We had our guys working on the issues the minute we became aware of it, but it was unfortunately not a quick fix situation.
