customer service "lost item"

I have returned an item to takelot approx a month ago. The item was collected from a pick up point and "lost" along the way. I have been told that my item was damaged and will be returned to me. I have never received the item back and have been following up with different call centre people for about a month now to no avail. Each time I call its a new issue or a different story, basically my item cannot be traced and I cannot either online as they have closed the enquiry. I am highly disappointed as I paid R400 for the item and had it for about 2 months. I have not received a refund or my item back. I will not be ordering from them again!
