Customer Service Leaves A Very Bad Taste In My Mouth

I am generally very happy with the Service that Takealot provides and their Products. However on the 6 Jan 2023 I received 2 Maroon lamps that I had ordered for R400, The 2 boxes that the lamp bases came in, looked like "China Mall Specials" Then the lamp shades were just loosely packed in a bigger box with a fan and other items. Upon further inspection I realised that one of the lamp shades was damaged. The Maroon Material was off a section and the wiring was exposed. I logged a query and was then told that the faulty item would be uplifted from me. Then once Takealot had the faulty item, they then asked me to return the other lamp that had NOTHING WRONG WITH IT AND WAS PERFECTLY FINE! In what Universe of thought processes does this make sense. I obviously needed lamps, so was obviously already using the one that was fine, all I wanted was for the BROKEN ONE TO BE REPLACED. Then when I didn't send back the completely fine lamp, Takealot of their own volition sent me the broken lamp back!
