Customer care and refund process

I ordered a book from takealot but received the wrong book. I immediately logged my return on the app and returned the item I received. My app continued to say I needed to return the item to the pickup point . I contacted customer care and was told it was sorted, only for my app to now say return cancelled. I have not received the product I ordered or a refund and have not received a response from customer care as of yet.
