Counterfeit electronics TWICE!
I ordered two Samsung Galaxy S5 phones from Takealot as Christmas gifts. When the two arrived both units turned out to be counterfeit, serial numbers confirmed **** by Samsung SA, supp**** accessories also ****. I logged the return and issue with Takealot and replacement units were then sent to me, this whole procedure and the assistance I got I was happy with, once I eventually spoke to the correct person. The following week the replacement units arrived and to my surprise these two units are also counterfeit! I cannot believe that this can happen especially from a reputable company like Takealot. I hope that this issue will be resolved soon and I will soon have the correct units that I paid for in my hands. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed!

As explained the items you purchased are imported and sold by a 3rd party seller. Samsung SA will therefore not be able to confirm the authenticity of the devices. We've requested the relevant documentation to be sent to us to confirm the authenticity of the phones you purchased and we've de-activated the listing until this matter has been cleared up.
