contravention of the CPA by falsely advertising goods

I was closely following the price of a Logitech G29 steering wheel for PS4 over the course of 4 days. On Monday 1 July, the item was advertised at a discount of R4145 and I was thinking of buying the product.

On Tuesday, much to my disappointment, the product was no longer on special but was now advertised at R5999 so I didn't purchase it. However, when I checked yesterday, it was back on special for R4145 so I immediately bought it, only to find out today (4 July) that my order has been cancelled.

Safe to say, I am pretty disappointed.

When I checked the same item today, it was back in stock at R5999! This is unacceptable for an item to be back in stock, at the higher price when my order was cancelled for the same item at the discounted price. I don't understand how the SAME item, has fluctuated in price over 4 days, with my order now being cancelled at the discounted price.

As a frequent takealot customer, I am really upset that takealot has pulled the wool over my eyes with false advertising and cancellation of orders (at advertised discounted prices). Please sort this out!
