Conterfeit Ab Carver Pro

I have been a very happy Takealot costumer for years. I spend a lot of money there. But recently they’ve started to slip. From the really long lead times on just about everything, to delivery confusion.

Most recently, I ordered a Perfect Fitness Ab Carver Pro. As you can see in the listing, it is listed as the Perfect Fitness Ab Carver Pro. The images are for the authentic product. So I paid the R699 and waited the 2 weeks for delivery.

But to my surprise, I received an Abdominal Wheel Pro. The box looks cheap and faded. Nowhere does it mention Ab Carver Pro (except the stuck on barcode). Underneath it mentions the inventor of the original. The handles are cheap plastic, unlike the nice rubber grips on the original. The colour is red, not maroon like the original. And the provided knee pad is some cheap rubber thing. Even the manual is obvious. I knew from seeing the box it was ****, but looking at the whole thing, it becomes even more clear.

Not only is this not the original, but it’s an obvious Chinese counterfeit trying to pass itself off as the authentic product. And it’s listed as the original. There’s a word for that. 5 letters stars with f and ends with d.

It’s one thing to receive the wrong product. It’s an entirely different one to receive a counterfeit.
