Condoning of unacceptable practice by couriers

Takealot - can you'll stop using dishonest, ********* couriers!? And can you'll make information of the responsible courier for the specific delivery available, to allow direct contact in need, as well as to facilitate escalations and hold these employees accountable? You'll failed to meet the turnaround time of an order request, because the courier did not feel like delivering it, so blatantly **** about me being unavailable. I had to log in to check the order status, only to find the lies about me apparently being unavailable. Then, my parcel is left in limbo because now the status update is that it has to be rescheduled, but with no indication of when this will be. I tried to use the chat function on the Takealot app, to raise this issue. That bot functionality is embarrassingly hopeless. I managed to source the Takealot customer care number from an external source (as Takealot does not reflect this on its platforms for some reason). I had to wait the next day for business operating hours. When the call was eventually picked up and I brought the agent up to speed, requesting delivery to be prioritised, the agent contacted the branch, who assured me it will be delivered on the day of this call. This was further confirmed on email subsequent to the call. Despite this commitment following my complaint, again it has not been delivered, without reason, and again without another scheduled date. The order status on the app is also still not updated. I'm inconvenienced in terms of not getting to utilise my product; time to make calls to follow up where's my parcel; as well as having to make someone available for receipt of the goods (which again is uncertain as there is no commitment as to when it will be delivered). There seems to be no repercussions for this practice, as this has been done twice now. Are customers supposed to just accept this behaviour? Is it just a lack of taking such matters seriously? I'm resorting to posting here as the internal process is still ineffective, like I've experienced in the past.

Reviewer Update
An update on this. The parcel was to be delivered on Monday. It's now Friday and it's not delivered, despite complaints lodged with Customer Care as well. There was no option to reschedule on the app all these days either. On Thursday, as employees were not answering the calls, I went back to the order details and it was only then that the option to reschedule appeared. With still no update/indication about the delivery, I selected the reschedule option for the parcel to be delivered on 5 June. After I initiated the rescheduling, comments mysteriously appeared that it was apprently out for delivery on 4 June, but customer rescheduled to 5 June. No SMS, no calls made to me to back up their comments that they conveniently inserted to protect themselves. Now I check the status and they've unilaterally moved delivery to 6 June. At what point will the underhanded and unprofessional behaviour end? I guess when Takealot institutes consequence management. Despite my requests for the details of senior management and the courier for me to take it further (since the Customer Care department is clueless how to handle this), there's also a refusal by Customer Care to share the details. It's shocking how one of the largest (if not largest) eCommerce entities in the country, has such a dysfunctional and lacking escalation process. From past experiences and this one, it's likely the Complaints process is designed to prevent or stifle customers' complaints.
