Complaint – Unacceptable Service and Product Quality

To whom it may concern,

I am extremely disappointed with the service and product quality received from Takealot.

The couch delivered to me was delivered defective like a spring or something being loose when you sit on it. There was no intentional damage caused on my side — this is exactly how the item was received. Being instructed to clean a few dog hairs from the couch is unreasonable and unacceptable, as the couch otherwise was in great condition and clean. No couch should only last 5 or 4 months from sitting on it and nobody in my household is obese so it still doesn't make any sense...

Furthermore, the couches do not even match that was delivered - one is leather and the other is fabric. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about quality control and product checks before delivery.

Based on this experience, I will not be doing business with Takealot again unless you can resolve this matter. The level of customer service and the quality of the product fall far below acceptable standards. I will also be advising others of my experience so they can make informed decisions.

Please ensure that management is notified, as experiences like this will result in the loss of loyal and valuable customers.

I expect this matter to be taken seriously and resolved appropriately.I am requesting resolution under the Consumer Protection Act.
