I have purchased items online takealot Reference : MRRN-SVY76-DPYO order number : *** on the 29 October 2024, I then got the massage that my order is ready for collection, and on the 3rd November 2024 I went to kya sands takealot, the items I got was not what I expected and not matching the what was advertised online, the items was overpriced, I then requested to return the items and it was accepted. Today I got an email that the financial provider declined to refund my money and then takealot had credited my takealot account, I then went into my takealot account the balance is zero, so I then requested that they refund the money through other refund method, I then got a email that a potion of the money will be held back, they not specified the amount. Until now the money is not in my account. I don't understand why would takealot want to take my money because they are a third-party and they have a way of running their business. And if the financial provider was declining why would they contact me for alternative method of refund and now Want to take a portion of the money? I need my money, takealot doesn't verify their partners if they are doing the right thing using their platform.
