Collecting a Delivery early? Impossible!

I am seriously starting to consider never ordering from takealot.com ever again. Year on year their service has gotten worse.

I placed an order for delivery by 3 September, and the item arrived at my pickup point down the road on 31 August. So I figured I can walk down and collect it early.

Now if you recall anything about every other courier company in existence, is that they will allow you to collect your parcel early and save their already busy drivers a trip. Does takealot's backwards logic allow for this? Not one bit.

Citing excuses like the branch will get in trouble is not an adequate excuse. Adapt your policies and make it more convenient for your customers.

How do you expect to become the Amazon of South Africa with such a limited mindset?

Once again terrible service from Takealot.com, the 2nd time in one month is too much.
