Christmas Ruined

I placed an order with Takealot on the 18th of December. Full payment was made. when i checked after placing the order it informed me that the delivery date was the 6th of Jan. Who wants to receive their Christmas present in JAN?

when selecting the items I made sure that all my selections were in stock. Not one item had a notification that there is not sufficient stock, limited stock or no stock to dispatch the order. so i feel that this is appalling service.

when i called Take a lot this morning i had to hold for +- 30 Minutes before my call was answered and when it was i was giving a weak excuse as to why my order will be delayed, the service advisor then transferred my call to someone who could "help" me and my call got cut. I have now been on hold for another 20 Minutes and NO assistance. NOT ACCEPTIBLE!

Each Item I have ordered was for Christmas presents for the family, now I wont have anything to give them on Christmas. What happened to the 5 day delivery policy?
