China Town products!

<p>Order number: ********** 4</p> <p> </p> <p>After much consideration I gave takealot a go again since being disappointed on previous occasions. Order placed Monday to be deliver Wednesday what shock and horror I was left in when I opened the box to discover that the “Amazing Scentses Turquoise Matte Protective Gel Skin Cover Case For Huawei P9 Lite” was actually just a hard, cheap, faded blue plastic china town knock-off in the exact same china town packaging too (my packaging was damaged too) which I have seen on street stalls across Cape Town.</p> <p>To test my theory on the cheapness of the products I ordered from takealot I took a walk around Chinatown yesterday and requested to see the types of screen guards they would use as I ordered a screen guard with takealot to my dismay it’s the exact same product/ quality and packaging received with my order from takealot is being sold at these pop up cell phone shops.</p> <p>I ordered a set of earphones as well the spec looked GREAT and eye catching but all I got was weak, no bass, uncomfortable ordinary earphones.</p> <p> </p> <p>Lastly I ordered a paw patrol puzzle for my son whose birthday it is on Monday and the pencil case that the puzzle comes in has black smudges on it.</p> <p> </p> <p>To say that I am utterly disappointed by this order in an understatement out of a 5 part order I am only satisfied with 1 item. The point of convenience to shop from home or work is out the window as I now need to run around to the shops to get the items which I ordered from takealot.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am very close to taking this matter further with the ombudsman for false advertising on 3 of the items purchased.</p> <p> </p> <p>If I wanted cheap quality items at a fraction of the price I would have gone to china town and got them there I did NOT expect this kind of service or products from a reputable company like TAKEALOT!</p>
