Childs car seat about as safe as no car seat - Order ***6

I purchased a car seat from Takealot in June of this year. When trying to install it I noticed how flimsy the workmanship was but was not too stressed as I am well aware of my limited technical s****s. I decided to wait for one of my more technically minded mates to help me install it correctly into my car to see if it was just me or something was wrong with the actual car seat. Myself and my fiance decided that my son would drive in her car with her older yet safer seat until such time as this issue was sorted (I had driven with my son a few times with this seat and when I went around corners he would slide from one side of the car to the other!)

After several mates tried to fix the seat it was decided that the product itself was faulty. I sent the seat back to Takealot, well within the 6 month time limit according to the Standard Warranty and asked for credit so that I could buy another seat from them. I was emailed and asked why I took so long to return the product (5 months) and I explained the above to them. I was promptly told that the reason was not good enough and I would not be credited and the chair was sent back to me. No reason given for the rejection.

A little side note - this particular brand of car seat is now nowhere to be found on Takealot (Neux) Funny that, clearly I wasn't the only one to complain.
