CHEATALOT SELLS 2ND HAND PRODUCTS AS NEW
CHEAPALOT sold me a 2nd hand book claiming that it was new. The pages were stained, three price tags on the back and pen markings on the cover - this is what *****ALOT calls new? When I lodged a complaint this is what they had to say - Do you want store credit or a replacement - well they don't have that book in stock so guess what, these imbeciles will now at their own convenience probably offer me store credit. They are lai.rs and I lose money because of this. It's funny how these companies try to be customercentric, but their incompetence and *******ed ways of doing business just seem more important. If you can't find me a copy of that book - and a new one at that- I don't want store credit I want my money back you thie.vin' clowns. There is a company called AmamzonUk, that delivers to SA. Cheaper, better and they actually make good on their refund policies - why should I use *****ALOT again?
Once again we apologise for the situation. As discussed on social media it sounds like you were sent a returned book by mistake and we'll gladly assist in correcting this. We're only able to offer a replacement if we have stock of the item. If we don't have stock we'll gladly assist with an account credit or refund.
Our complaints team will liaise with the relevant departments to confirm whether we have stock to replace the book. If not they'll be in touch to assist with your return and refund.
Sincerely,
