Cheap products

I bought a pair of head Altec Lansing Avenue head phones from takealot. Its valued at R849 but i payed R499 for it which is stil a lot of money for a pair of headphones. Apon arrival i attempted to use it for its intended purpose by putting it over my head and on to my ears. At the same time the hinge of the head phones snapped. I then requested a replacement as i thought mayb i bought a faulty headset. I was then replaced but the same thing happened to the 2nd one. I did not want the item anymore because i barely used it and it broke so whats the point. They refused to refund me for a product that you cannot use because it breaks so easily. I do advise anyone to not buy that product or any of there products as they do not have professionalism to call me when i logged the head phones or to understand where im coming from as a customer.
