Charge for next day delivery.... 5 days still waiting??
I placed an online order on the 17th of October with takealot for 3 products, I also opted to pay an extra R95 for next day delivery as I needed the things I purchased quite urgently. On the 18th of October a delivery did arrive and as I was not home my domestic worker signed for 2 packages, on my arrival I was very excited to see that the things I purchased had arrived, I opened the boxes only to find that only 2 of the 3 products that I had ordered had arrived. I immediately opened a "ticket" on the takealot website to find out what had happened and why I had nit received the 3d product. I received a generic responce saying that someone would be in contact with me. 2 days later on the 20th I received a mail from a Crystal Saban stating that they have forwarded my query to the relevant department and would revert back to me. A little later I received another email from the same person asking if the boxes where damaged or if I could see that they were tampered with and asking for pictures of the boxes with the barcoded stickers on to which I rep**** with photographs of the boxes. Next I received an email from a Luyanda Gysman on the 21st of October where she asked her team to confirm that it was a picking error, to which I responded by asking to let me know what was happening and what they intended to do about the next day delivery fee that I paid. I then received on the same day an email from a Thembani Ngcobo that stated that they did ask the order replacement team to do an order replacement for me. It is now the 22nd of October and I have received nothing and I am out of pocket for the delivery fee that was charged for them to deliver on the 18th. I find this extremely poor from takealot seeing that they are quick to take there early delivery fee but then just ignore when asked after I have been waiting 5 days now for the order that was supposed to be here the next day. I also find it very sad that one has to first fight and raise blood pressures before getting any joy! Come on people this is not how one is supposed to do business. Please phone me! Don't just send another generic email!
