Careless packing procedures

Unfortunately, Takelot cannot be contacted directly as they no longer make provision for this on their website. This then leaves no option but to publish my complaint on this forum. I purchased two Patriot SD cards from Takealot, as well as a number of other items recently. Unfortunately, upon opening the parcel, the packaging of the two SD cards, were covered in what appears to be syrup. I am assuming whoever was packing the parcel must have also been enjoying a syrup sandwich at that time? This is just ridiculous. Surely there should be a process and procedure in place with regards to this? Unfortunately I only noticed this after depositing the items on my desk and proceeded to cover some legal documents with this sticky substance. Needless to say, the documents had to be redone. Hopefully a Takealot Representative actually monitors Hellopeter and takes note of this.
