Cancelled Order

Very disappointed,after placing an order for an item for my Grandson for Christmas,order was processed,email confirmation stated that the item would be delivered on the 1st December,we had to make arrangements for someone to receive the order, only to get a message yesterday that the item will be delivered on the 10th of December,which we accepted,as there was no rush in getting it straight away,but today they mail to say they have to cancel the order because there is no stock of the item..very irritated to have been misled on the off go.!!!! They could have at least helped us look for a similar item instead of simply sending a mail to say the order is cancelled..and I have never had issues with Takealot in all the YEARS we've been ordering from them...
