Cancellation of order

<p> </p> <p>On Tuesday 17 May I ordered a Samsung UHD Gaming Monitor from Takealot for a special price of R7999.00 (think it was 27% off). I have done allot of research on prices and that price was by far the best price that I have seen for the for any 4K monitor. So I ordered it. This morning (Friday) I received an email stating that the item is out of stock so my order was cancelled. This is unacceptable because when I placed the order the item showed that there was stock in JHB. The item is also still advertised on the Takealot catalogue but the price is now R12 095 (which is a lot higher than what I ordered it for). If there is no stock then Takealot should order from the supplier but they can’t just cancel my order. If this is not resolved I will take it to the Consumer Protection Tribunal.</p> <p> </p> <p>My order number was *** and my reference number for the cancelation was ***.</p>
